The Violence Reduction Partnership (VRP) which is hosted within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Avon and Somerset is looking to recruit a VRP Manager. This is an exciting role that will lead the management of the Knife Crime Concentration Fund as well as supporting the day-to-day functions of the VRP.
Reporting to the Senior Partnership and Engagement Manager, this is a key role within the VRP, working to support delivery against the Avon and Somerset Serious Violence Reduction Strategy, the OPCC Police and Crime Plan and the Home Office funded grant to reduce knife crime.

Salary: £38,169.00 - £48,459.00 per annum depending on experience

Please note that government plans are underway to transfer functions under the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) model to a Police and Crime Board in May 2028 as part of reforms introduced by the Police Reform Bill. Functions delivered by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) will still be required under the new model however the specific arrangements of this transfer are in their infancy and yet to be defined. These changes are intended to enable better join up with local services across Avon and Somerset.
